Canadian Who's Who

The standard reference in Canadian contemporary biography, Canadian Who’s Who has been documenting the achievement of Canadians from a wide variety of occupations and professions since 1910.

Those listed in Canadian Who’s Who are chosen on merit alone, for the positions they hold in Canadian society, or because of the contribution they have made to life in Canada.  Based on invited submissions, the detailed entries can provide date and place of birth, education, family history, career information, memberships, creative works, honours, languages, and recreation, together with contact information.

Since 2011, Canadian Who's Who has been a publication of Charter Press Ltd., operating as Third Sector Publishing. University of Toronto Press published the volume from 1980 to 2010. For more on the publication history, visit

Libraries can now give readers access to the entire run of this prime genealogical reference work with this desLibris Special Collection. A reasonably-priced subscription provides instant access for all readers to all 47 existing volumes, and new volumes are added to desLibris as they appear.
