Over half of the participants (55%) experienced a recent job loss, either in the year they started the TIOW program (24%) or the year prior to starting in the program (31%). [...] Key Findings The findings of the summative evaluation are consistent with the results of the previous formative evaluation of the program which found that “labour market outcomes for participants were largely positive”. [...] The TIOW survey respondents also indicated that their participation in TIOW improved their employability: • The majority of the participants (69%) agreed that they felt more employable as a result of the services they received, and; 62% agreed that the activities and training in the program made it easier for them to find a job sooner.
