The importance of addressing linguistic ethno-cultural diversity in the delivery of public health services

Objective: The aim of the present literature review is to identify and critically appraise the available evidence on the importance and effectiveness of addressing the ethno-culturally appropriate language needs of multicultural communities targeted by core public health services, within the broader concept of providing ethno- culturally competent public health programs.
