The following objectives informed the research:10 1. To identify and review current and emerging practices in developing and accepting micro-credentials in admission and transfer in British Columbia and elsewhere; 2. To assess institutional perspectives on motivations, issues, and opportunities for developing and using micro-credentials for admission and transfer at Canadian post-secondary institu [...] The review included scholarly and trade literature, a review of the websites of institutions that are exploring or awarding micro-credentials, and an assessment of other white papers and research to provide additional insights on the perspective of employers/human resource staff.
