In 2017, Parliament gave the Parliamentary Budget Officer a new mandate to estimate the financial cost of election campaign proposals submitted by the parties for consideration. The 43rd Federal Election marks the first appearance of these independent costings of party proposals, which are published on the PBO website.. desLibris is compiling the separate monographs released on the site into a single consolidated volume which will be updated daily as new estimates appear.
