A statistical representation of the distribution of LCA data in the final dataset was provided, documenting the mean as well as the standard deviation and uncertainty of the mean, to help qualify the variation in LCA results and the reliability of the mean value reported by this study. [...] The goal of the literature review was to gather the greatest number of relevant and current LCA studies possible to cover the scope of the study with the largest dataset possible. [...] The results of the analysis comprise the main findings of the study, including the mean, uncertainty of the mean, and standard deviation of emissions associated with each generation scenario and process. [...] The scope of the study defines what is included and excluded in the system, defining the system boundary of the project (process/activities included), the functional unit, and the geographical, temporal and technological coverage. [...] Section 3 – Literature Review and Meta-analysis Methodology documents the methodology used to carry out the study and ensure validity of the results, including a description of the literature review and gap analysis, the data compilation and synthesis approach and the LCA modeling procedure.
