Self-directed funding

The project is managed by four regional partners — the Centre for the Study of Co-operatives and the Community-University Institute for Social Research at the University of Saskatchewan, the Winnipeg Inner-City Research Alliance and later the Institute of Urban Studies at the University of Winnipeg, and the Community Economic and Social Development Unit at Algoma University. L E A R N I N G , [...] The support person was able to review the letter of invitation and consent form with the participant and sign to signal that, to the best of his/her knowledge, the participant understood the proposed research and freely consented to participate.
