[...] Another example is the launching of the European Portal for Action on Health Inequalities in 2011, which provides a sharing space for information, policies, and best practices on social determinants of health and Health in All Policies (HiAP) at the European Union, national, and regional levels [8]. [...] In Sweden, representatives from the Swedish National Institute of Public Health held meetings with directors of other departments to discuss their roles in meeting the national public health objectives as stated in the Swedish National Public Health Policy [23]. [...] The plan specified that the Ministry for Social Affairs and Health, the National Board of Education, and the National Public Health Institute were responsible for coordinating this effort, working with local governments and education providers.
