Advancing evidence-informed decision making at Peel Public Health

The purpose of this report was to develop a model of evidence-informed health public policy suitable for local implementation at Peel Public health. The proposed model builds on the National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy's approach to synthesizing knowledge about public policies. This knowledge synthesis model has been expanded to include additional steps that are relevant to policy implementation within the context of a local health department.
