"Overall, results show a high prevlance of overweight and obesity for the Aboriginal population, and eating habits that do not meet Canada's food guide to health eating (1992) recommendations. One important finding to note is that a hig proportion of foods are consumed from the "Other foods" category, and these foods are generally high in energy, fat, salt and/or sugar"--p. 5.
