If housing is to play its proper role in public policy and make a positive contribution to strengthening families, building communities and improving the quality of life of Manitobans over the next ten years, Manitoba Housing must adopt a different way of doing business, change the culture of the organization and introduce key policy initiatives. A long term strategy must be developed around the three broad themes of: Reducing Affordability Problems, Addressing Supply Problems and Providing Housing and Support Services.
