RECOMMENDATION 3 The committee recommends that the federal government work together with the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada, to improve the information about post-secondary education provided to Canadians, including primary and secondary school students and their parents, and that the information provided include the following: a) the costs and benefits of obtaining a post-secondary dip [...] RECOMMENDATION 12 The committee recommends that the federal government expand the access to post-secondary education provided by its student financial assistance programs, with the following measures that shall take into account the principles and mechanisms found in existing bilateral agreements with the province of Quebec, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut: a).
