As the concept of knowledge to action moves to the forefront in the research community, a common set of quality tools could provide opportunities to consistently evaluate the impact of KTE implementation. [...] With the mission to be a world leader in the ethical generation and use of knowledge to benefit the patients and surrounding community of St. [...] Presentations about the review were made to each of these groups to solicit feedback related to the scope of this project and to discuss the direction of the review and preliminary findings. [...] A final feedback meeting was also organized with a group of KTE stakeholders from the KTE Community of Practice and several academic KTE researchers and members of the knowledge translation branch of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). [...] We were aware of the knowledge utilization literature, especially the work 10 Report on Knowledge Transfer and Exchange Practices: A systematic review of the quality and types of performance measures used to assess KTE implementation effectiveness and impact.
