EnviroEconomics, under contract to the International Institute for Sustainable Development, presents in this report up-to-date estimates of Canada's subsidies to the oil sector in three Canadian provinces, namely Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador, and the federal government. The focus of the study is on production, and more specifically on oil exploration, development and extraction, including upgraders.
