The hypothesis here is that the 6 greater the decision makers’ investment, the greater is the involvement in researchers in CR. [...] The respondents scored 2.57 out of a possible maximum of 5 on the index of relational capital with private health organizations and scored 2.25 out of a possible maximum of 5 on the index of relational capital with governmental health organizations. [...] Finally, the correlation matrix between the independent variables used in the regression model indicates that the highest correlation coefficient between the independent variables is that existing between the researchers’ relational capital with governmental health organizations (RELAGOV) and the variable for the degree to which the researchers’ projects were focused on users’ needs (USEFOC). [...] Among the twenty variables included in the explanatory model, eight variables were shown to have a positive influence on the involvement for CR: the perceived self-efficacy on policy decision making, the perceived credibility, the innovativeness of research findings, the receptive capacity of users, the focus of research on users’ needs, the focus of research on knowledge advancement, the relation [...] Hence, the varying degree of radicalness is measured by the sum of the scores of the items corresponding to the responses to these five assertions.
