[...] The Mackenzie Valley Gas Pipeline Project and Its Inquiry The construction of a gas pipeline from Prudhoe Bay on the shores of arctic Alaska to the delta of the Mackenzie River and then up the Mackenzie River valley to Zama, the northern terminal of the national gas pipeline system in Alberta, was one of the grand industrial projects of the 20th century.
