Involving stakeholders in the review process has positive outcomes that include increasing the relevance of the review and building the relationship between the decision-maker and the researcher (26). [...] This feedback has had an impact on the synthesis of the findings, the writing of the report and the plans for dissemination. [...] This list of “must-have” references was then compared to the results of the literature search to confirm the sensitivity of the search. [...] In addition to the content and quality appraisal, the review team also classified the broad methodological type or approach to analysis of the documents found in the comprehensive literature searches. [...] The data extracted included: context, the organizational structure of the process, ergonomic training, the process of the PE intervention (using the PE Framework (PEF) proposed by Haines et al (14; 17) and additional questions), facilitators and barriers of the process, and the reported effectiveness of the intervention (see Appendix D for details about the PEF instrument).
