[...] The governments of the Americas must ensure that the courts dealing with labour disputes respect and apply the principle that justice delayed is justice denied, and fulfill their obligation to defend the rights of working men and women. [...] The countries of the Americas must undertake a serious effort to balance the needs of family and those of the workplace, so that work is compatible with family life and caring for children, the sick, the disabled and the elderly.
