The development of an orthopedic waiting list algorithm for elective total hip and total knee replacement surgery

Baseline scores were collected at the beginning of the study (for those who were already on the list), or at the time that they were put on the list (for those who were subsequently added to the list during the study period). [...] Figure 4 contains the WOMAC data for the entire sample for the pre-surgical assessment and the 6- and 12-month follow-up, while Figure 5 contains the WOMAC data for the hip replacement and knee replacement patients separately.
