LTCHS also thanks the home and community program management teams and staff for their genuine and candid participation in the "How to be An LGBTQ2S Ally" workshops and the many consultations held while creating this version of the Tool Kit. [...] The first two sections, Introduction and Background and Our Journey Continues provide the context for this Tool Kit and set the stage for the following sections: Achieving Social and Cultural Competency and Achieving Organizational Competency which are related to how welcoming, inclusive and affirming environments can be created and supported by individuals and organizations.
