Though   discussions   about   talent   are   often   framed   in   terms   of   attracting   it   from   outside   the   country,   there   is   one   highly   mobile   group   within   the   country   that   deserves   more   attention. [...] But   there   has   never   yet   been   a   significant   inquiry   into   the   question   of   how   graduates   make   their   decisions   about  where   to   settle   after   school. [...] Florida’s   work   has   popularized   the   notion   that   members   of   the   “creative   class”   - ‐   the   highly   educated   knowledge   workers   that   our   respondents   presumably   will   become   upon   graduation   - ‐   prioritize   access   to   unique   cultural   amenities   and   novel   experiences   when   choosing   a   place   to   live.
