[...] In the State of Homelessness in Canada 2014, we explored the relationship between the lack of affordable housing in Canada and the growth of homelessness. [...] In the State of Homelessness in Canada 2014, we made the case that a withdrawal of federal investment in affordable housing, beginning over 25 years ago, has led to the current affordable housing crisis in Canada and has directly contributed to dramatic rises in homelessness.
