After the federal election in October, the External Panel’s deadline to report was extended by the federal Minister of Justice and the federal Minister of Health on the grounds of “limitations posed by the … election period,”20. [...] New section 241.3 makes it an offence for a physician or NP to fail to comply with the safeguards in new sections 241.2(3)(b) to 241.2(3)(h) outlined above and to fail to inform the pharmacist of the intended purpose of the substance as outlined in new section 241.2(8).
