[...] Short-term variables measured included the extent of increased knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making techniques, a sense of belonging to the community and motivation to participate in school. [...] Intermediate and longer-term variables related to the extent of decrease in aggressive behaviour, the extent of increase in healthy life choices, ability to deal with life stresses, the extent of substance abuse reduction, and decrease in drug-related criminal behaviour.
